He was never officially granted the "Sagami no Kami" title but used it in his mei as his birth right. The blade is in good condition and has a nice old polish. There is a alot to enjoy in this work and hamon is delightfully reminiscent of old Yamato-den.

This comes with a shira-saya with inserts for the mekugiana. There is also a well-made copper habaki. The Tokubestu Hozon paper was issued in 2019. It states that this is a shin-shinto work.
