Iron sukashi Namban tsuba in the classic jewel, double dragon and arabesque theme that is particular to this school. The mimi represents a string of beads. The jewel is inlaid at the top in gold washed copper. This tsuba has been well kept and its patina is in great original condition. A nice representative example. This tsuba is accompanied by a 2004 NBTHK Hozon paper and a paulownia storage box.
