This piece was exhibited at the Frazier Museums "Samurai" exhibition from May 2012 - October 2012. It is a particularly outstanding example of Bizen ware. The condition of this pottery is nearly perfect, which is amazing when one considers its age. Rocks and sediment can be seen the material which such a charming aspect of appreciation of Ko Bizen works. This is a rare opportunity to own one of the very best Ko Bizen Yaki outside of Japan.
