About this sword :   This katana has been attributed to the Jo Saku Yamato Tegai Smith, Kanezane. He was active around the Meio period (circa 1492). This blade has many text book Yamato Tegai kantei points. High shinogi, nie deki suguha with uchinoke, nijuba and bo utsuri. The NTHK (NPO) papers that come with this blade are Kanteisho and 74 points. This score reflects that quality of this blade wonderfully. Its does have some small kitae ware as shown in the photos and the polish is not high level. The shinogi-ji is a bit wavy under the habaki area and the overall geometry of the blade is not perfect. Thus, the price is very low for a Yamato Tegai Kanezane katana. It also comes with a silver foil habaki and a shirasaya.

Price: $4600
