A large iron Nobuiye iron tsuba. This is late Edo example that dates to the 1800s. The carving is of a stylized cloud dragon and is nicely done. The Myochin armor making roots of the school show in the folding of the thick plate in the corners of the work. This tsuba is nearly 10 cm tall and quite heavy. A large and well made signed late example of the school.
